Are you already getting MLM training from your upline or network marketing company?  If you are then that training probably consists of one or more of the following "old school" techniques:

• Make a list of your family and friends (your warm market) and "expose" or "share" your MLM products and opportunity with them.
  
  
• Make 3-Way calls with your upline where your sponsor gets on the phone with your prospects and attempts to pursuade/convince your family and friends that "this is the best opportunity" on the planet.
  
  
• Hand out fliers in public places...like the local mall.
  
  
• Conduct home parties where you invite your family and friends over your home, feed them and have them sit through your presentation hoping that they join you.
  
  
• Spend a virtual fortune on biz opp leads hoping that you'll talk to people who are desperately looking for a business opporunity...and not just a j-o-b.

Of course, there are other old school MLM techniques that I could have listed but the point is that if you're doing any of the things listed above or something similar then you are not only wasting your precious time but you are virtually guaranteeing your failure, instead of MLM success.
